Flights of Fancy | JBW Designs
Designer's note: The lovely birds in Flights of Fancy were part of a large antique sampler which was purchased this past year. The colors are just a lovely combination of aquas, greens and golds. As an adaptation, I worked just one of the birds and mounted it on a round scalloped tag from The Bee Co.
Stitch count: 144 W x 107 H (finished size is 8” x 6” on a 36ct fabric)
The sampler is Italian and was stitched in the early 1800’s on a 40ct linen in silk. The adaptation was stitched on a 36ct French Vanilla linen from R & R, using a variety of Classic Colorworks and Weeks Dye works fibers. DMC equivalents are listed also.

Multiple orders will be shipped together whenever possible and any shipping overages will be refunded to you.
